The basic CCNA exam tests your knowledge on various Cisco Switch and Router operations. As well as the IOS commands used to configure them. That is where the CCNA Mini lab comes in handy. You can practice in the lab before you drop $150 to take the CCNA exam !!

Other labs cost hundreds more and they do include beefier routers and switches. But what is important is the IOS version running on the equipment you practice with. As you can see from the "Show Ver" we have upgraded ours to a very modern version of Cisco's IOS.
